So, I’ve been reading/listening to Abraham/Esther Hicks lately. This morning, in fact. And then I drew two cards today from Toni Carmine Salerno’s Universal Wisdom deck: Om and Creativity. And I have to say that, for me, to draw these two cards right at this time is an uncanny affirmation that I’m on the right track in focusing on absorbing the teachings of Abraham. These teachings have been out there for quite some time and many of you are well aware of them. But for those who aren’t, I’m going to summarize what I think is the message of these two cards in my own way.
First we have Om, and the message that everything is made of vibration. If you look closely at this card, you can also see the vibration rising through the chakras and out through the aura, in waves. Yes, I know this sounds very woo woo, but scientifically we know that we are all made of waves and that nothing is as solid as it appears to be, not ourselves, not the world around us, nothing. Everything is constantly in motion, and the nature of that motion is waves, vibrations. As if the whole universe was constantly humming (much like my youngest daughter!).
If the Om card was a tarot card, at least in this context, I see it as the Fool. Setting out on our path by making a leap of faith. Because faith is how we change our vibration — by expecting to.
And then we have Creativity. (If this was a tarot deck, I think this card would be the Magician.) If we want to see change in our world, we have to create it (or co-create it, to put it in an Abrahamic way). You know all those clichés about how change has to start within? These are clichés because they are true. If our external reality sucks, we can change it by changing ourselves. And that means paying some close attention to how we are vibrating. Everything is a ripple effect — think about that. So send out the vibration that you want to have ripple back to you. Think of it as a scientific experiment, because in a way, it is. Or it can be. Be a Fool for a day, and have faith. And see if something amazing and wonderful comes about as a result.
